Mike ‘MOD’ O’Donnell

MOD is a professional director, chair, writer and advisor. 

He is currently Chair of Garage Project and G2G Knowhow, Deputy Chair of NZ Trade & Enterprise and Serato Digital Audio, and is a Director of PaySauce, Sandfield Software, Realestate.co.nz and Radio New Zealand.

Prior to becoming a full time director MOD had a varied background in leadership positions for organisations including AMP Capital, Trade Me, Gareth Morgan Investments, Timely and vWork. He has held a range of governance roles in the public and private sectors, while also is known for his work with leadership teams managing transformational change and digitisation programmes.

MOD has written the Saturday business column for Stuff Media for the last 10 years and is the host of popular TV series Start Up. He's also a trustee of Hi-Tech New Zealand.
