The first step is to hold a case conference.
A FairWay Resolution Coordinator will contact you with arrangements for your case conference.
Case conferences are usually held online, via Zoom.
The first step in review process is to hold a case conference. The case conference is an online meeting with both you and ACC. The meeting is hosted by an independent reviewer.
ACC will automatically send us the details of your case and the chosen date and time for your case conference.
Before the case conference, a Resolution Coordinator from FairWay will send you instructions on how to join the online meeting.
If you have any special requirements (for example if English is your second language, or if you have vision or hearing problems) you should let the Resolution Coordinator know as soon as possible so we can make suitable arrangements.
If you have any questions at this stage or would like to speak with someone who can explain the process before the case conference, you can contact 0800 77 44 14.
About the case conference
The case conference is an opportunity for both you and ACC to clarify issues and get things ready before the review hearing. The reviewer will confirm the details of your case, discuss options and explain the next steps.
This meeting is held online using our Zoom platform and no video is required. We recommend joining the meeting a few minutes early so you can get everything set up beforehand. The FairWay Reviewer will initiate the meeting. Some more information on joining the online meeting is available on our Zoom help page.
If you cannot access the meeting online, we provide an alternative teleconference option.
