COVID-19 issues in the workplace

In today’s ever-changing workplace, it is important to equip your people leaders with the skills that will help them build trust, connect with empathy, communicate clearly and de-escalate conflict. 

Having these skills will pave the way for people leaders to build stronger teams despite the challenges associated with working remotely, COVID-19 issues, opposing views on vaccination and rising levels of stress.  Having the skills to provide a safe space invites conversation rather than confrontation.

We have used our experience and combined it with market insight to provide a series of modules targeted at people leaders and similar professionals who are currently having to navigate difficult conversations. As teams transition back to the workplace and reconnect, several COVID-19 related issues are coming to the surface and causing conflict in various forms.

Each session costs $2000, is 2 hours long and consists of two modules of your choice from the list below. Longer workshops can also be delivered upon request. The sessions are designed to be interactive and will give your leaders practical tools they can implement immediately and use on a day-to-day basis.

Module 1 - Building TRUST during disruption

Key learning: using conflict resolution techniques to build trust within teams.

Module 2 - Empathetic connection

Key learning: recognising the importance of connecting with empathy and how this approach can have a positive effect on business objectives. 

Module 3 - Communication 

Key learning: awareness around different communication styles and why miscommunication can happen. 

Module 4 - De-escalation of conflict

Key learning: recognising the causes of conflict and equipping people leaders with the tools to de-escalate conflict and form a strategy.

Module 5 - Bullying and Harassment

Key learning: developing an understanding of what would constitute bullying and harassment by looking at the legal framework and caselaw.

Module 6 - Unconscious Bias

Key learning: developing an awareness around unconscious bias and the impact it can have on others in the workplace.
