Preparation For Mediation
Mediation can be a stressful and challenging experience for people. Preparation For Mediation is a mixture of support work and coaching to help people get ready for this experience.
About Preparation For Mediation (PFM)
Sometimes, previous history, behaviours and emotions can get in the way of finding a solution during a mediation.
Our specially trained practitioners prepare individuals with tools to get the most from mediation. This usually involves helping people to understand their own behaviours, and developing strategies to assist them in the mediation.
These practical skills help the individuals to better manage their relationship with the other party at the mediation and in the future.
What’s involved?
Preparation For Mediation is an opportunity to reflect on how our behaviour is influenced by our emotions and thoughts.
Through this process, we support people to reflect on their relationship with the other party and prepare them for the mediation.
It is a safe and confidential experience which is independent of the mediator and other parties involved in your dispute.
