Chantelle Walker is a mother, grandmother, Registered Social Worker, mediator, and organisational leader with over 14 years' experience supporting children, young people, and whānau across Aotearoa New Zealand. Chantelle facilitates Voice of the Child services, helping families navigate separation and conflict through practical, child-centred solutions.
Her practice is grounded in trauma-informed, restorative, and kaupapa Māori approaches, creating a safe, respectful space where families can work through conflict, strengthen communication, and achieve sustainable outcomes.
Throughout her career, Chantelle has led the development of innovative social services, built multidisciplinary teams, and established New Zealand's first specialist kaupapa Māori residential care service. She is passionate about supporting positive outcomes for children, young people, and whānau through collaborative and strengths-based approaches.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her whānau, mokopuna, and friends, keeping fit and active, and being outdoors. Netball has always been a significant part of her life, and she continues to enjoy both playing and coaching.
