Dianne Stock is of Ngāpuhi descent, Ngāti Hineira and Ngāti Rangi. She brings both professional training and lived experience to her work with tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau. Married with four adult children and four precious mokopuna, Dianne understands the deep value of whānau connections and intergenerational wellbeing. She also loves to travel and explore new places, which feeds her curiosity and connection with people from all walks of life.
Through strengths-based, play-informed, and narrative approaches that are CBT-TI Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Trauma-Informed, Dianne supports children and whanau to express what matters to them in a way that makes sense to their world. She is confident navigating complex family dynamics, including high-conflict situations, while holding neutrality and emotional safety. Dianne's style is warm, relational, and grounded, placing the voice of the child at the heart of every process.
Her background includes counselling, facilitation, and family therapy, with a strong focus on trauma-informed and culturally aligned practice. Dianne has worked in NGOs and private practice in the areas of Domestic and Intimate partner violence, Family Court communications counselling, and Stand Children’s Services, supporting both individuals and families through healing and change. She works in ways that support safe, respectful engagement with whanau and their tamariki.
