Helen Goatley

Helen is a registered social worker and has 10 years’ experience as a Family Dispute Resolution provider. She is a self-motivated, conscientious worker with 20 years' experience including 8 years' in team leadership. She has a keen interest in family therapy and client self-determination.

Helen works with parties towards collaborative solutions to family disputes keeping the interests of the children as a prime focus. Helen has a strengths-based approach utilising Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment theory and Solution-Focused therapy for exploring issues and making sustainable plans. Helen supports parties to increase their understanding of each other’s interests to formulate the best possible solutions.

In her social work practice Helen has worked in the Child & Family and the Disability sectors and she has experience working with people at all stages of life. She is currently an Intake Social Worker and regularly meets people to hear and understand their journey and to work towards the best outcomes in a timely manner.
