Helen is an experienced FDR practitioner, conflict resolution coach, counsellor, and organizational Ombuds consultant. Helen also comes with a wide experience of working in the education sector for 20 years. Helen’s dispute resolution coaching and counselling experience enables her to provide specialised ‘preparation for mediation’ coaching, which enables clients to represent themselves as comfortably as possible under the circumstances.

 

Helen has a preference for transformative mediation particularly in the FDR space for restoring co-parenting relationships for the betterment of the children. Helen has a Master’s degree on student voice and uses her extensive study and experience as a FDR child inclusive specialist to further support effective dispute resolution.

Helen is also a certified Neuropsychotherapy practitioner and has strengths in working with neurodiverse clients.

Helen has seven years of providing coaching and dispute resolution services with various education stakeholders. She is particularly interested in assisting individuals with organization workplace disputes, Education disputes (schools, boards, parents’ ) FDR family mediations to restore relationships and manage the effects of experiences that have impacted on wellbeing and mental health.

She and has attended Te Tiriti O Waitangi cultural competence courses.
