Jesse-Paul Conradie

Jesse-Paul Conradie is a registered quantity surveyor, arbitrator, adjudicator and expert determiner who brings more than 20 years of construction, contracts and commercial experience to the resolution of disputes. An Associate Director at White Associates, he has worked on both the contractor and consultant sides in New Zealand and South Africa. This enables him to understand not only the legal and contractual issues, but also how decisions affect cash flow, project delivery and ongoing commercial relationships.

Jesse-Paul’s point of difference is his commitment to designing a process around the dispute, its value and what the parties actually need. He offers arbitration, adjudication and expert determination, as well as tailored hybrid solutions for smaller or time sensitive matters. His aim is to give parties a fair opportunity to be heard while controlling time, cost and complexity from the outset.

With a quantity surveying and construction law background, Jesse-Paul is particularly well placed to determine disputes involving payment, valuation, variations, extensions of time, delay, prolongation, defective work, final accounts and contract interpretation. He also acts as Engineer to the Contract and Independent Certifier, giving him direct insight into contract administration and decision making during live projects. Jesse-Paul is a Registered QS of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MNZIQS, Reg QS), an Associate of AMINZ, a Professional Member of Resolution Institute, Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa), and a member of the AMINZ Arbitration Panel and Adjudication List. He is available nationwide and is committed to an independent, transparent and commercially sensible process that delivers a clear and workable outcome.
