As a mediator, Keri is passionate about empowering parties with coaching and tools to help them move forward.
Keri is the Client Director of FairWay’s Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) service which helps parents and guardians to design their own practical parenting agreements focussed on the needs of their children. Her role involves building awareness of our service in the community, and working alongside government agencies to help families access support services.
With experience in a range of mediations, including workplace disputes, Keri challenges traditional prescriptive dispute resolution models, and encourages mediators to work with their clients to build their own capacity to resolve future disputes. She regularly presents on FairWay’s method of mediation at industry events in New Zealand, and has also presented internationally. Keri has also had numerous articles published in The Family Advocate magazine.
Her mediation work draws on the experience she has gained working as a Senior Resolution Practitioner at FairWay Resolution Limited and as a facilitator of the Parenting Through Separation course for Skylight. Keri also works as a Conflict Coach to assist people to prepare for their mediation.
Keri has a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Dispute Resolution) from Massey University, is an AMINZ Fellow in mediation, an accredited FDR provider and an accredited conflict coach.
