Kirstie is a Registered Clinical Psychologist based in Tauranga and the Director of Kberg Psychology. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and families across a range of settings and supports young people experiencing emotional, behavioural, developmental, and adjustment difficulties.
Her approach is child-centred, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based psychological practice. Kirstie aims to create a safe and supportive environment where children feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. She works collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to understand each child's unique circumstances and needs.
Outside of her clinical work, Kirstie has held a range of leadership and governance roles within the sporting and community sectors and has a background in professional sport. These experiences have strengthened Kirstie’s understanding of resilience, wellbeing, and the importance of ensuring that people feel listened to and respected. She enjoys working with children and families from diverse backgrounds and helping them navigate challenges in a supportive way.
