Lynda Campbell-Harris is a Registered Social Worker and Social Work Therapist with over 20 years’ experience supporting children, young people, and families. She specialises in child and adolescent mental health, trauma-informed practice, and helping children and young people have their voices heard in times of conflict. Lynda is skilled in creating safe, supportive spaces and brings expertise across a range of evidence-based and family-focused approaches.

Lynda’s approach is child-centred, respectful, and supportive. She focuses on creating a calm and safe environment where children feel comfortable to share their thoughts and experiences. She values listening carefully, being patient, and making sure that each child’s views are acknowledged and understood. Lynda also works in partnership with families and professionals, aiming to reduce conflict and keep the child’s wellbeing at the heart of every conversation.

Over her career, Lynda has worked in both public health services and private practice, including more than 20 years with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. She is an approved ACC Sensitive Claims Provider, working as both a counsellor and specialist assessor. Lynda has supported children and families through a wide range of complex challenges and is experienced in trauma-informed, child-centred practice. Alongside her work with children and young people, she also supports adults, giving her a broad understanding of the challenges families face across generations. She is recognised for her ability to engage respectfully with children and to work collaboratively with families and professionals to ensure children’s voices are clearly heard and considered.
