Megan West

Megan is a qualified and registered social worker with extensive experience in child protection and child wellbeing. She brings strong skills in engaging with and conducting interviews with children and young people, families and whānau. Megan maintains a strong child-focused lens in all aspects of her practice and is dedicated to promoting the safety, rights, and overall wellbeing of children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests remain at the centre of decision making.

Megan is a trained social worker with subsequent training and practice in child interviewing. Megan works in the charitable sector promoting the rights of children and ensuring professionals are trained in working with children. Megan lives in Kiririroa Hamilton and was brought up in the Waikato.
