Nadia is a practicing mediator in the area of Family Dispute Resolution and in the past has been a Voice of Child practitioner and provided coaching for people heading into mediation.  Alongside facilitating mediations, Nadia works as a counsellor with tamariki, rangitahi and their whānau while also providing couple therapy.  In all her work Nadia seeks to support better connection and communication. Nadia also delivers workshops on communication-based topics to interested organisations.

Nadia views the mediation process as a safe space for separated parents/caregivers to find agreements that can continue to effectively support the best interests of their child/children. Her process is strengths-based and solution-focused, supporting people to come up with an agreement that fits for their unique situations.  Nadia believes that a good mediation agreement can help provide clarity and certainty for both tamariki and parents and help eliminate frustrations and misunderstandings.  Nadia enjoys working in the mediation space as she believes that mediation can be a positive mechanism for parents/caregivers to create a co-parenting relationship built on effective collaborative communication centered around the needs and interests of their tamariki.

Nadia is employed by Presbyterian Support Upper South Island (PSUSI) and is the Team Leader for their social enterprise Āwhina Mai Wellbeing Services. All profits from the social enterprise support PSUSI in working towards their vision of a just, compassionate and inclusive society for all people. Although originally from Āotearoa, Nadia has lived in a number of countries with her whānau, and enjoys travel, sunshine and coffee catchups.
