Nisha Dahya

Nisha is a family lawyer with 10 years’ experience. She has practised over many areas of family law but has a particular interest in care of children matters and child advocacy. Nisha was appointed as Lawyer for Child in 2016 and has represented numerous children on matters ranging in complexity.

Recently Nisha has served as a committee member for the New Zealand Law Society Standards Committee and was the Hutt Valley Representative for the Family Law Section. Nisha also served as a committee member of the Wellington Family Courts Association for a number of years.

Nisha has a keen interest in dispute resolution and enjoys working with families to help them to achieve satisfactory outcomes outside of the Court process.
