Rodger Wilson

With over forty years’ experience in statutory Child and Family Social Services in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Rodger transitioned to become a Family Dispute Mediator following the introduction of the Family Dispute Resolution Act, 2013. In delivering this service, he has drawn extensively upon the transferable skills developed throughout his social work career, progressing from practitioner roles to senior management positions.

In his role as mediator, families have often been able to negotiate, what are often seen as complex, intractable problems, by enabling them to move from difficult family relationships to a more calm, settled, less confrontational relationship between the parents and a more secure and stable relationship for the children/young people.
