Russell is a partner in the Wellington firm of Buchanan Gray Lawyers and Mediators. He has been practicing law in Wellington since 1979. Russell is an experienced Court lawyer and advocate as well as a Resolution Institute (previously known as LEADR – IAMA) accredited mediator and an accredited Family Dispute Resolution mediator. As an FDR mediator, Russell has helped many parents and other family members to achieve positive parenting outcomes and agreements regarding the care of children.
Russell also helps people to resolve their relationship property disputes by assisting them to reach agreement through mediation.
In addition to his role as an FDR mediator, he also has considerable experience dealing with employment relationship issues, personal grievances, disputes and investigations.
Russell is also an experienced property lawyer and deals with residential and commercial property transactions, conveyancing, leases, family trusts, wills and estates.
