Simon is a mediator and communication & conflict coach.

He has over 30 years’ professional experience helping parents, couples, families, children and young people navigate their way through conflict, communication and relationship issues. He has an extensive professional history including work as a Social worker, Alcohol and other Drug counsellor, Student and Family support worker. Mental Health worker, Family therapist, Couples counsellor, Coach and Mediator.

Simon is known for providing high quality FDR and PFM services nationwide via videoconferencing or phone.

Simon’s unique blend of skills, experience, warmth and heart has helped him gained a reputation throughout New Zealand for helping people find creative solutions to the problems in their lives. Simon specialises in high conflict, family separation and re-partnered families.

In recent years Simon has become best known for being at the forefront of the development and facilitation of FairWay’s Preparation for Mediation (PFM) service.

He has also recently created a YouTube channel to share his extensive knowledge of relationship communication and conflict skills.

He is passionate about helping parents find a way to support their children’s health, wellbeing and happiness. As well as finding more ease in their own lives.
