Blair Wadams

Blair is one of our Operations Managers for ACC Services and is based in Auckland.

Joining Fair Way in January 2022, Blair oversees a team of Resolution Practitioners and Coordinators across the upper North Island, ensuring that our dispute resolution and review services are delivered with a high degree of professionalism and customer satisfaction. Blair prides himself on providing visible, supportive leadership that is invested in the ongoing growth and success of his team and Fair Way. Blair is also passionate about staff wellbeing and maintaining a vibrant team and office culture, motivating others to thrive within their roles.

Prior to joining Fair Way, Blair spent over ten years working within the Justice sector, starting his career as a Probation Officer with the Department of Corrections. Blair attributes his work in this field to instilling his deep sense of empathy for and desire to help those in our community that come from disadvantaged backgrounds, or who may have experienced significant trauma in their lives. Blair was fortunate to be able to utilise his skills in similar roles in the UK, Australia and Germany, thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to both connect with and learn from people from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. Upon returning to New Zealand, Blair’s wide-ranging Probation experience, coupled with his natural people skills, allowed him to transition first into practice leadership and then management positions with the Department of Corrections. Seeking a new challenge in his career development, Blair was excited to join Fair Way in a people focused role that continues to offer opportunities for delivering a genuine, supportive service to others.

Outside of work, Blair keeps engaged in a range of sporting activities including tennis, running, surfing and snowboarding, as well as being a keen musician.
