Georgia is a Registered Psychologist who works with tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau to support mental health and wellbeing. Her work includes helping children manage anxiety, depression, OCD, and supporting children who have experienced trauma. She also provides neurodivergent-affirming therapy for children who have recently received a diagnosis of autism or ADHD, and helps children develop emotional regulation skills and adjust to changes such as family separation and grief.
In her role as a Voice of the Child practitioner, Georgia creates a safe and supportive environment where children can express their thoughts and feelings about their family situation at their own pace. She focuses on listening without judgment and empowering children by ensuring their perspective is central to decision making, which promotes more positive outcomes for the child and whānau.
Georgia has been trained in a range of therapeutic modalities and is part of the Family Works Community. She also works privately one day a week conducting ADHD assessments. In her spare time, she enjoys pottery, hiking, and walking her dog.
