Barbara Greene is the mother of three adult children and a grandmother. She has spent the majority of her working life dedicated to people's wellbeing.
She has worked as a highly respected family social worker and parent educator. During this time she was a registered provider of the Parenting Through Separation program so has an in depth understanding of the struggles that are faced during separations and the need of planning for the children to be as harmonious as possible.
Barbara is currently a Counsellor in Private Practice working with children, adolescents and adults. Voice of the Child work takes place in her central Nelson counselling room or at other venues (such as schools) by arrangement. Children find her warm and easy to talk with.
