Rebecca Pohe

Rebecca is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) mediator and wellbeing practitioner working across Aotearoa. She supports individuals and families to navigate complex transitions and relational challenges through mediation, professional supervision, and wellbeing-focused interventions. With over 30 years’ experience across social services, family support, child protection, and working with diverse communities—including 13 years on the frontline in the UK—Rebecca brings deep insight into risk, safety, and the emotional complexities families face during times of change.

Rebecca’s work draws on deep listening, relational insight, and respect for every person’s story. She approaches each situation with care, structure, and humility - drawing from trauma-informed principles, restorative values, and holistic wellbeing frameworks. She is guided by a strong commitment to inclusion, integrity, and respectful communication. Rebecca strives to create safe, supportive spaces where every voice - particularly those of Tamariki - is heard, held with care, and treated with dignity. Her goal is to help people feel seen, find steady ground, and move forward with greater clarity and trust in their ability to navigate what comes next.

Rebecca managed a range of mental health and social service provisions, including a residential service for rangatahi with high and complex needs. Led the delivery of Family Dispute Resolution services with a NZ provider. Oversaw centralised coordination of referrals and support pathways for employee assistance programmes (EAP). Held designated safeguarding roles in UK secondary schools, including Child Protection Lead and Head of Year.
